Outline Debuts at InfoComm 2009

On Outline North America LLC booth (number 6384), units such as the new MANTAS (VLA) and LAB 21 (infra-sub), as well as the compact enclosures of the DVS (8-10) range in self-powered versions will be able to be seen for the first time on the American market.

MANTAS is the most recent Vertical Line Array element designed by Outline. Thanks to the great experience built up with Butterfly - the system which has the same fundamental components and characteristics - MANTAS features leading edge performance (147 dB SPL peak, 4 modules) in a cabinet that is extraordinarily compact and light-weight (24 kg - 52.9 pounds, including hardware). The LAB 21 infra-sub is another of these devices that stand out from ordinary enclosures because it features ingenious acoustic architecture (a hybrid waveguide and indirect radiation system). So ingenious that it ensures top-grade performance from an enclosure that is objectively very compact: the world’s most compact fitted with a 21” woofer (for more details, download the brochure).

Booth 6384 will also host the Butterfly and Mini-COM.P.A.S.S. VLA; the latter is self-powered and fitted with sensors and DSP for its variable directivity (from 60 to 150 degrees): the only compact VLA on the international market offering this feature.
