Philips unveiled high performance LED floodlights for the entertainment market at LDI 2009

Philips Color Kinetics announced two powerful LED floodlights specifically designed to withstand the rigors of the rental and entertainment environments.

ColorReachTM Powercore and iW Reach TR Powercore are the road-ready versions of ColorReach Powercore, the flagship high-performance floodlight from Philips Color Kinetics. These rental-friendly floodlights generate enough light output to replace multiple flood and wash fixtures for large-scale and long-throw applications.

ColorReach TR Powercore and iW Reach TR Powercore

ColorReach TR Powercore offers over 5,000 lumens of output, light projection of over 500 feet, and the ability to natively generate millions of colors and dynamic effects without the need for maintenance-intensive colored gels, filters, or mechanical scrollers. New royal blue LEDs are standard with ColorReach TR Powercore to offer deeper, more saturated color projection in theatrical and touring projects. iW Reach TR Powercore produces intense washes of tunable white light in color temperatures ranging from a warm 2700 K to a cool 6500 K. With over 10,000 lumens of output and light projection of over 800 feet, iW Reach TR Powercore significantly outperforms competitive fixtures on the market.

Both fixtures offer a range of entertainment- and stage-specific features, including a lightweight yoke for mounting to pipes, trusses, and stands, and an optional accessory holder for freestanding installations. Available spread lenses, barndoors, top hats, egg crate louvers, and other accessories slide into the accessory holder for easy swapping. Optional 16-bit control provides ultra-smooth dimming.

These six-channel fixtures are also available with custom LED configurations in any combination of blue, royal blue, green, amber, red, and white LEDs in eight color temperatures.

Also at LDI 2009, Philips Color Kinetics demonstrated its complete end-to-end approach to LED lighting for entertainment and event production. From high-output, rugged, easily mountable systems to versatile controllers and accessories, Philips Color Kinetics meets the demanding requirements of entertainment and rental environments with fully integrated LED lighting solutions.

ColorBlast TR and ColorBlaze feature the latest in LED technology for dramatically increased lumen output - over 60% higher than previous versions. New royal blue LEDs offer deeper, more saturated color projection in theatrical and touring projects.

                                                              ColorBlast TR and ColorBlaze

ColorBlast TR projects intense, controllable color for s! tage and entertainment applications. This rugged spotlight offers tour-friendly features such as replaceable lenses, a protective face cover, standard XLR connectors, and a housing that easily accommodates accessories, clamps, and other mounting hardware. Optional 16-bit control provides ultra-smooth dimming.

ColorBlaze is a linear LED fixture designed for full-color scenery and wash lighting in theaters, TV studios, concert halls, event venues, casinos, and exhibits. Onboard power supplies eliminate the need for special equipment, and push-button addressing capabilities make configuration and operation a snap.

The premium member of the iColor Flex family, iColor Flex LMX is a flexible strand of up to 72 individually controllable, high-intensity RGB LED nodes for creating extraordinary effects, expansive installations, and large-scale video displays.
A range of lenses is available, including marquee lenses that create the appearance of bulbs on a traditional theatre marquee.

ColorDialTM Pro
is an Ethernet-based controller for color-changing LED lighting fixtures from Philips Color Kinetics.
ColorDial Pro features an enhanced LCD screen for configuring effects, simple dial-and-button controls, support for up to 170 individually controlled nodes, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology that eliminates the need for a separate power source.
